1969 - M. Sc. at Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
1980 - Started bee-keeping as a hobby
1988-2002 - Chairman local bee-keeping association
1996 - Developed a computer program with scanner for measuring bee wings.
2000 - 4th International Conference of the International Association for the protection of the Dark European Bees, Dalsland and Jämtland, Sweden, August 19-25th, 2000: New biometric method used in Sweden, Mr. Ingvar Pettersson and Mr. Per Thunman
2005 - Member of the board of Swedish bee-keeping associations.
