All my work experiences for the last 10 years have been committed to run a Biodynamic queen bee-breeding station on Yeu Island, France, to adapt, select, raise and sell Apis Mellifera Caucasica in Europe. I’m a multidisciplinary person and a self-taught learner. For the last 10 years, I have been committed to run a unique biodynamic caucasian queen bee-breeding station. Apiaries are on Yeu island, France, isolated in the ocean from the main continent, www.apiselect.fr). It’s required me to gain expertise in biodynamic queen bee-breeding and beekeeping field works. Success has been met thanks to strict genetics pattern control (varroa resistant, queen lifetime robustness, hives’ autonomy and productions) and strict ecological breeding planning methods using biodynamic calendar to: • Natural picking methodologies; • Plot nuclei’ swarms to introduce, cure and breed bee queens; • Guarantee starter/finisher queen rearing efficiency; • Improve bee queen introduction swarm technics and mating delays in order to match beekeeper’s planning and swarm’s living in a business; and • Ensure bee queen health and transport efficiency worldwide
